Dear Neighbor, Let Us Introduce Ourselves.
Clinica Family Health is a community health center that provides comprehensive medical, dental, mental health and pharmacy services to families and individuals of all ages and backgrounds. For the past 45 years, we have offered health care to the residents of Boulder, Broomfield and Adams counties, so that everyone had access to affordable, high-quality health care.
Finding health care can be difficult when you live in the mountains. Adverse travel conditions or long drives can discourage people from getting the care they need. Postponing care can have serious consequences, especially for those who are pregnant, sick or dealing with a long-term condition like diabetes or depression.
Leaders of Western Boulder and Gilpin counties have asked Clinica to explore bringing family health services to your community. Making health care accessible to everyone is a vital part of our mission, so we are excited to explore this opportunity. However, we want to respect your community and your wishes. If Clinica made the commitment to your community to provide health services in Western Boulder and Gilpin counties, would you be interested in utilizing these services for yourself or your family? Please fill out our survey and share your thoughts. Your feedback will let us know if you want Clinica in your community and which services you need most. Thanks!
Making Health Care Accessible & Affordable
At Clinica, we believe that providing people with affordable, accessible health care is the right thing to do because:
- No one should suffer because health care isn’t available.
- If people are healthy, they can take care of themselves, support their families, stay in school, be employed and be active in their communities.
- Having local access to health care will help people manage on-going problems and stay well.
- If people can access basic health care, they will be less likely to use expensive hospital emergency rooms or urgent care facilities.
We Want To Hear From You!
Clinica has been asked by community leaders to explore bringing health care services to your community. Before we do that, however, we want to know what you think. Would you like to have health care closer to home? What is most important to you when you choose a health care provider?

Hear From a Local Like You
My name is Cheryln Marriott. I am a patient at Clinica Family Health and co-chair of the board of directors. More importantly, I have been a member of the mountain community on and off for nearly 50 years. During all of those years, I never had access to health care close to home. If I wanted to see a health provider, I had to drive to Boulder or Denver or even further. Easily I was spending 90 minutes each way to see a doctor. My car wasn’t always in good shape, so always in the back of my mind was the concern about breaking down along the highway. And the price of gas was a constant addition to the cost to my health care. Eventually, I just stopped going to doctor and physical therapy appointments.
Yes, it worried me to be up in the mountains without access to health care. I’d pretend that things weren’t happening to me. I’d put off care and hope that symptoms would go away.
Having access to health care close to home would bring me such peace of mind – for me, my neighbors and my friends. It would be wonderful to know the doctor and care team. They might be our neighbors. Our kids might go to school together. Having health care close by would reinforce the sense of community, and up in the mountains, we’re all about community.
Please click the button below and complete the survey to let Clinica know if you would be interested in health care close to home. Thanks so much.
