Joshua Messer was born in New Mexico. He came to Colorado at the age of 9 and spent most of his life in Canon City, Colorado.

Dr. Messer received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut and completed his residency at University of Colorado Family Medicine - Swedish Hospital. Joshua wanted to come to Campesina “to serve the underserved and provide high quality care at the same time.” His healthcare philosophy is high quality, comprehensive, prevention-focused, family oriented, holistic care for everyone.

Joshua enjoys volunteering with his church and outdoor activities that involves friends and family.
