Nancy Middlemiss was born in Golden, Colorado, living here and in New Mexico most of her life. She came to Clinica in 2005 working primarily at Boulder Community Hospital Family Birth Center.
Ms. Middlemiss graduated from the Seattle Midwifery School, received her BSN from Regents College in New York and her MSN and certificate in Nurse Midwifery from the University of New Mexico. Nancy’s health care philosophy: “I enjoy helping families negotiate the choices facing them during pregnancy and childbirth, so that they feel safe and cared for. I'm interested in the appropriate use of technology, so that, insofar as possible birth is a natural process rather than a medical event.”
Nancy lives in the mountains. In her spare time she enjoys nature, playing music with friends, being with her teenage daughter and traveling.
