Carrie Ann Matyac received her degree and Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification from the University of Washington at Seattle. She spent her first two years of practice in rural Washington.
Ms. Matyac was born in Columbus, OH. She moved to Colorado in 2007 and started working at Clinica in March 2008. She wanted to work at Clinica “to work with others who have the same standards, goals and ideals as I have.”
Carrie Ann’s healthcare philosophy is that it is important to address all issues concerning the patient, asking questions, empowering the patient to make their own decisions so that the patient feels they have a plan for their healthcare needs at the end of an office visit.
In her spare time, Carrie Ann likes to read, garden, hike, cook and card making.
