Misae Vela Brol was born in Southern California, where she spent all of her childhood. Ms. Vela Brol completed her undergraduate degree in San Diego and her nursing program at the Yale University School of Nursing in 2005.

Ms. Vela Brol came to Colorado and Clinica in August of 2005 because of Clinica’s mission, values and dedication to its patients and clients. Clinica and Ms. Vela Brol have a similar philosophy of “providing quality healthcare to all who are in need”. Ms. Vela Brol believes that “healthcare extends beyond the diagnosis and treatment of an illness or disease or beyond a specific body part; it includes preventing illness, promoting health and working with the whole person, their family and their community”.

When not at Clinica, Ms. Vela Brol enjoys traveling to Latin American countries, spending time with her family and friends, relaxing, enjoying the outdoors and playing soccer.
