Maria Somerset, DO, earned her Medical Degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997. She completed her residency and fellowship in Osteopathic Neuromuscular Medicine at the Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine. Ms. Somerset is board-certified in Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.

Born in New Jersey, Ms. Somerset has spent the majority of her life in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Maine. She came to Colorado in 2005 and began at Clinica in 2006 because she believes in the Clinica mission. She believes that “health care is a fundamental human need”. She hopes to “provide excellent preventative and curative care while treating the patient as a whole”.

In her free time, Ms. Somerset enjoys running, biking, hiking, reading, cooking, music and spending time with friends and family.
