Born in Denver, Colorado, Ms. Palmeri has spent her life in both Fort Collins and Denver. She came to Clinica in 2002 because a friend highly recommended the organization. She also knew a little bit of medical Spanish and Clinica seemed like the perfect place to use her skills. Her goal is “to empower patients to make health choices”. She believes that “preventative care is important and both what we know and how much we eat play key roles in our health”. She also believes that all people and all cultures should be respected. She has no intention of making people eat things that they do not like (except vegetables!) or making everyone do things the way that Americans do. She wants to work with patients to improve their health in a way that is acceptable to them.

In her free time, Ms. Palmeri enjoys hiking, biking, downhill skiing, playing tennis and playing the piano. She also loves to cook and try out new recipes.
