Carolyn Shepherd, MD, received her Medical Degree from the University of California, Davis, in 1979. Board-certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Shepherd completed her residency at Merced Community Medical Center in Merced, California. Dr. Shepherd is Clinica’s Medical Director.

Dr. Shepherd has spent most of her life in the Central Valley of California. She came to Clinica in 1988 and believes that "prevention can make a difference. There is always something each of us can do to make our lives healthier".

Dr. Shepherd is married and has two daughters. She enjoys hiking and swimming.
