Ruth Garcia received her medical degree at the University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus in May, 2009.
Ms. Garcia was born in Texas and came to Colorado in 1996 where she enjoys working with the patients that Clinica serves. Her healthcare philosophy is deeply rooted in the “Community Empowerment Theory” by Persily and Hildebrandt. If patients are educated and empowered to take control of their own health they can positively influence their community. Ruth believes this is best done by creating patient partnerships.
In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family, close friends and traveling.
